  • HUANG RENJUN always carries around your favourite snacks on him. he doesn't know when it began but whenever you need a pick-me-up sugar fix, he gotchu
  • HUANG RENJUN has a section of notes in his phone dedicated to you. things you like, poems that remind him of you, songs to put in playlists for you, things he thinks you'll like. it just shows how much he thinks about when you aren't there.
  • HAUNG RENJUN intertwines his pinky with yours because he is too shy to hold your hand completely but wants to hold hands anyways. no matter how long you've been togther, he still feels like his heart will spill when you wrap your entire hand in his.
  • HAUNG RENJUN rolls his eyes with a scoff whenever someone looks your way because he knows you're hot and the audacity they have to look at you. anger issues aside, you love it when he is obviously ticked off when someone checks you out.
  • HAUNG RENJUN only wears colognes he knows will get a reaction from you. while he does like smelling nice generally, if he knows you like the scent of a certain perfume, oh boy will he wear it just to get your attention.

  • double majors in communications and psychology, minors in creative writing
  • joined the debate team at first but found it too adversarial so he joins the student government to advocate for his peers instead
  • brings the most savory foods to class and makes half of the students hungry just by the scent 
  • once called the professor “dude” by accident and hasn’t looked that professor in the eye since then
  • will not miss out on opportunities to study abroad and has been all across the world during the summers
  • uses his writing skills to bring in the scholarships 
  • you wonder how on earth he is able to balance life and work when he’s juggling 12 things at once, yet he still shows up to class with tidy hair and perfect skin??
  • throws board game nights with his friends and classmates and has gotten too many knocks on his door to quiet down 
  • shocks everyone at parties when they first find out he can play instruments and sing
  • totally causes hearts to skip like ten beats when he brings out his guitar but he’s still clueless to people having crushes on him
  • zones out sometimes and accidentally stares at someone - they get scared thinking he’s psychoanalyzing them when he’s really just deep in thought about how your belly button is just your old mouth

[ renjun ]

  • majors in fine arts with a concentration in painting and minors in romance languages
  • vice president of the school’s fine arts student organization and spends a lot of his free time organizing studio and gallery visits for the members
  • always arrives to class at least 15 minutes earlier with lots of enthusiasm
  • can and will cuss you out in spanish and then say it was a compliment so don’t try him
  • complains about how unnecessarily expensive art supplies are but then spends the whole afternoon crying when his 34th paintbrush from the local dollar store breaks right before a deadline
  • after that he applies to work at an art store just for the employee discount 
  • he’s the person if you ever need to borrow a writing utensil but you better return it in one piece or you’ll face his wrath :)
  • harsh self-critic and will pull consecutive all nighters because he’s not satisfied with his own creations
  • has to be reminded to not skip meals during midterms and finals
  • teared up when he was presenting at a gallery and received praise for this art piece he poured his entire soul into but sucked all the tears back in when haechan teased him 
  • you can recognize him on campus from miles away because of his bright yellow converse sneakers

[ jeno ]

  • has switched majors a billion times before he settled on game design and development
  • thought he would be freed from math until he found out his major required a math course and then he had an existential crisis 
  • is all eye smiles when he talks about the cool model that was shown in class during lunch because it was THAT awesome
  • stays up until ungodly hours playing video games for “research purposes”
  • sometimes stumbles into class with bloodshot eyes and accidentally fell asleep on a classmate’s shoulder once and suddenly everyone volunteers to sit next to him
  • gets invited to multiple sports teams but he’s not good at rejecting people and he can’t join all of them at once so he doesn’t join any at all
  • volunteers at the pet shelter and goes to class covered in fur but he is always over the moon whenever he gets to spend time with the animals
  • 80% of his instagram feed is cute animals  
  • you’ll probably find him chilling at the campus recreation center playing ping pong with his friends or napping in a warm corner during breaks between classes 
  • an angel who will actually help you with your homework if you frantically text him at midnight 
  • carries a bag that looks like it weighs a ton - inside holds extra snacks in case anyone (jaemin) gets hungry, some first aid supplies in case anyone (jaemin) gets hurt, and extra chargers in case anyone’s (jaemin) phone or laptop runs out of battery

[ haechan ]

  • unsurprisingly majors in theatre arts and minors in dance 
  • sings or hums while he’s frolicking across the campus just because he can
  • his favorite course is acting but he will rave about his contemporary dance technique class even in his sleep
  • will grab the closest person by the waist and dip them dramatically out of nowhere while he’s rehearsing for a presentation and almost breaks their neck
  • don’t worry, he’ll let everyone know when he gets an A
  • shows up late to class sometimes and not-so-subtly tries to sneak in from the back but would end up tripping over the leg of a chair and the beverage in his hand would go flying 
  • the only way you’ll see him at the campus fitness center is if you use your imagination
  • has a doctorate in creative excuses - “hey guys, my hamster has been going through diarrhea, so can someone send me their notes from week 4 to week 11”
  • somehow does well on pop quizzes even if he doesn’t study
  • sometimes looks like he’s suffering the biggest hangover, but he really just stayed up all night because he refused to let chenle beat him in this video game and kept on asking for a rematch

[ jaemin ] 

  • that one premed student who majors in nutrition and food sciences
  • talks about the video of childbirth he saw in class while you’re eating and suddenly you lose your appetite
  • nags people about vitamin D deficiency but you’ll never catch him standing under the sun for more than three minutes
  • his friends go to him when they’re in pain - jisung: my wrist hurts when i do this, jaemin: yeah don’t do that
  • only brings one (1) pen to class and scrambles to borrow from others when the professor says pencil only
  • realizes he has left his laptop in jeno’s bag when the class is already halfway in
  • wears pajamas to his 8am courses (and pulls it off)
  • doesn’t really do anything beside school work, friends, and his part time job as a barista at the local coffee shop
  • survives on netflix instead of joining clubs and going to parties
  • sometimes turns down invitations to hang out and brings his camera outside to take photos instead 
  • you think he’s staying up studying at 2am but he’s really just rewatching disney movies after drinking his third americano
  • still aces all the assignments
  • cannot wait to graduate and make his mom proud :’)

[ chenle ]

  • an international business major only because of his family’s business
  • only shows up to class on the first day, the midterm, and the final because he just wants to become a basketball player 
  • one of the best 3-point shooters in the school’s basketball team
  • sits all the way in the back of class so he can take a nap or text his friends and never gets caught because he strategically hides behind the really tall people
  • gets a few C’s here and there but is an unbothered king
  • will not hesitate to speak up or stand up for someone when he notices some kind of injustice
  • mingles with students from all years and gets away with being rude just because he’s that lovable 
  • invites everyone to lunch, even the people he has only met once and can barely remember the name of, and you would think he would go to the nearby food truck but then he brings people to a buffet?? 
  • you hear the loudest dolphin screams across the campus and you wonder if the earth has finally cracked in half but it’s just chenle when a spider landed in his hoodie
  • no gossip can escape him - he doesn’t start them but he wants to know all the tea
  • knows everyone’s crushes and will give people knowing smirks lowkey blackmail material

[ jisung ]

  • majors in astronomy and minors in sociology
  • constantly in a state of wondering whether he should switch majors because he caNNOT take the math and physics courses anymore
  • is the first one to bolt when those classes end and everyone wonders if he’s secretly the flash
  • says there should be no need for any other fancy math calculations when addition and subtraction are enough for him to get through life
  • but thinks it’s worth it whenever he looks deep into the sky and feels a sense of accomplishment in being able to pick out ursa major 
  • wears a graffiti backpack to class and even gets complimented on it by a professor
  • also looks really cute in his glasses
  • will suddenly talk about capitalism while he’s shopping because he spent a whole week on that paper for his work and society course
  • sometimes you ask him for help on homework and he freaks out caUSE THERE WAS HOMEWORK??!
  • works at the campus library but is a little clumsy and toppled over a whole shelf of old poetry books with broken spines - he spent weeks reorganizing it again and putting the pages that spilled out back into the respective books
  • chenle once told him there’s a ghost haunting the library and now he flinches whenever he’s working night shift and there’s the tiniest noise behind him

Jaehyun counted the 57th car that drove by his apartment that night. With his knees curled all the way up to his chest, neck and shoulders tense from the slouched position, he followed the passing vehicle with his gaze. When the distant rumbling of the engine turned into a buzzing silence, Jaehyun softly sighed. The room was quiet, too quiet. It was the type of quiet that reminded you of just how lonely you were.

It was another one of those sleepless nights that Jaehyun had become well acquainted with in the past few months. It would be a lie if he said he didn’t miss those spontaneous midnight drives you pulled him on during the hottest days of summer. Now he sat alone in the dark, growing tired of watching the snow fall like it was in love with the ground.

His phone vibrated against his sheets, the brightness of the screen illuminating the small room. An incoming call from you sent his thoughts spiraling. Jaehyun didn’t want to pick up. He shouldn’t; your relationship was no more, but you were haunting him like a ghost of the brightest summer days.
